Knight Executive Travel - Terms & Conditions

1. Hire - Customers will be charged for the travel booked, any changes to the journey must

be notified to Knight Executive Travel and will be charged accordingly. Any late changes are subject to the drivers availability that day.

2. Vehicles – can only carry up to the stated amount of passengers which was agreed at the time of booking and any changes to the number of passengers resulting in a different type of vehicle being used will then be charged accordingly and is subject to a larger or smaller vehicle being available. We will not carry more passengers than the vehicle legally holds.

3. Safety - All passengers MUST wear seat belts provided in all vehicles, Knight Executive Travel Ltd accept no responsibility or liability for injuries, accidents or death as a result of passengers failing to wear seat belts provided. We do not provide child seats, if a child seat is required this is to be provided and fitted by the hirer.

4. Knight Executive Travel Ltd accept no liability for missed flights, trains or events due to circumstances beyond our control, road accidents, flooding/weather conditions, congestion, terrorist attacks or acts of god.

5. In the event of breakdown or accident Knight Executive Travel Ltd reserves the right to provide alternative vehicle(s).

6. Behaviour – We can refuse to carry passengers who are under the influence of alcohol, or drugs or if abusive to the driver. The hirer is responsible for the passengers, if a passenger is refused carriage for any of the reasons stated then no refund will be available in these cases.

7. Soiling charge of £50 will be payable for a valet to any vehicle deemed un-necessarily soiled by clients. This will be charged to the person/business responsible for the hire. We operate a no smoking or eating policy in our vehicles.

8. Insurance – We are fully insured for passenger travel and public liability, this does not cover damage to clients possessions or losses caused by delays.

9. Cleanliness – All vehicles are valeted on the day of hire and we will make every effort to keep vehicles clean but this is not always possible due to weather conditions and we will not accept responsibility for the changes to the exterior of the vehicle caused by the weather.

10. Contact information - It is the sole responsibility of the Client and / or the Travellers who they represent, to ensure that the information with which we are provided is accurate, complete and timely. This is particularly important where travel takes place outside of core business hours. Clients must ensure that their booking staff and travellers have our contact number. They provide us with a mobile number for the lead traveller and they advise us as soon as possible of any changes to schedules particularly those arising from flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections.

Bookings, Payments and Cancellations

Reservations may be made by Telephone, Email or via this Website, We will respond to you and confirm your reservation by Email. The confirmation Email, once accepted by the client, constitutes our order, contract, and schedule.

Individual payments can be made by Cheque, Card and BACS transfer. We accept all major credit cards which are charged at 4% handling charge.

All “On-Account” and “Card Payment” charges are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate on Invoices.

Non-standard journeys or those requiring deviations will be quoted on request.

Parking and Airport drop-off fees will be charged separately together with Toll and London Congestion Charges.

For airport collections the company allows 45 minutes waiting, then after this time waiting is charged at £25 per hour.

Under no circumstances will Knight Executive Travel Ltd store or retain customers financial details.

Cancellations

2 days notice is required to incur no charges for cancellation of business bookings.

1 days notice of cancellation of booking will incur 25% of booking cost to be invoiced.(24 hours).

Under 3 hours notice of cancellation will incur full booking cost to be invoiced.

Failure to show up for collection will incur full costs of booking invoiced for payment.
